Montessori Practical Life activities are designed to help children develop their independence and self–care skills. These activities are based on everyday tasks such as pouring, polishing, and dusting, which helps children gain self–confidence, concentration, and coordination. They also help children to learn about the environment and their place in it. Practical Life activities can include basic household tasks such as setting the table, cleaning up after a meal, or tidying up a room. They also include activities such as polishing furniture, dusting, folding laundry, or gardening. Practical Life activities help children learn to take care of themselves, their environment, and their families.
