1 to 3 years – Sensorial
Montessori sensorial activities are designed to help children explore and understand their world through the five senses. These activities are designed to develop children‘s cognitive skills and help them to understand and recognize differences in size, shape, color, texture, sound, and smell. Examples of Montessori sensorial activities include matching objects based on size, shape, and color; sorting objects by size; sorting objects by color; and identifying objects by touch. Through these activities, children can explore their environment and make connections between different objects.
